The Comfy Interiors

The Oyster Cove Chalets consists of 4 units, 3 with spas and queen sized beds, comfy tub chairs and everything one would expect from a superior 4 star development. Our 4th unit is a twin and has all the same facilities except for the spa bath. It's an ideal unit for our aged and/or disabled clients, its wheel chair friendly and very quiet.


Digital TV along with a cd player/clock radio are also in each unit.

Computer access is available in each unit and e-mails can be checked from the office if you haven’t brought your own lap top.

Other services offered are, tourist information, Bar-B-Q facilities and seating in the extensive and tranquil gardens. Each unit has a veranda with its own café setting and small Bar-B-Q; a pleasant place to relax and enjoy a well earned beverage, after a days touring in the south of Tasmania.

For the photographic enthusiast see Fran who has spent 40 yrs as a working photographer. She can answer most questions and give advise.

If your camera memory card is full and if you need to download pictures to a CD or stick, just ask Fran and she will only be to happy to help.

As self-contained units, cooking facilities are in all four units. The breakfast provisions are included in the tariff, and each unit has tea and coffee making facilities. We have a range of Tasmania’s finest meat and fish products in our freezer, packaged in convenient, single serve units for our cliental. So on the way out sightseeing, select your dinner and put it in the fridge so as it will be ready when you return home.

Oyster Cove Chalet is licensed, giving our clients a selection of wine, beer and soft drinks from the mini-bar and office.

The house wines include Tasmanian varieties as well as mainland and are priced well within any budget.

Iron and ironing board are also provided, as well as extra of anything you may need, like plates glasses etc: just ask and we will do our utmost to be helpful and make your stay memorable.
